Wise woman
the power beyond impermanence
This page provides you with further resources and practices you can do to continue deepening your connection to this month’s archetype.
How deeply can you honour your inner wisdom over the next few weeks?
Practice self reflection daily.
Self reflection and self knowledge is a key part of working with the Wise Woman. Spend 5-10 minutes (at least) a day going inwards and meeting your inner Wise Woman. Sit with her in silence, observe her, or talk and ask her questions. Either way, you will find yourself building more and more self trust in doing so.
Balance your throat chakra.
An under-active throat chakra leads to a fear of speaking and excessive introversion. An over-active throat chakra leads to overly-dominant voice and an inability to listen. The Wise Woman always comes back to the centre with her voice, knowing her right to speak and be heard, and valuing the wisdom she has to share; without becoming a preacher.
There are many resources that you can find on how to heal this chakra, and here is just one of them to get you started: https://tealswan.com/resources/articles/how-to-open-your-throat-chakra-r228/
Heal the root chakra.
The Wise Woman understands that her value in the world is innate. She is worthy simply because she is alive. She is rooted, at home in herself, happy to be alive, and hungry to know. These are all qualities of a healed Root Chakra! Watch this video if you would like to learn more about how you can heal your own:

Meditate on impermanence.
As we discussed during our workshop, true liberation comes with accepting that everything ends. When we can practice a healthy level detachment in the world we open our hearts to receive more of the present moment.
If you would like a structured approach to meditating on impermanence this page provides a good foundation for you: https://thubtenchodron.org/1991/08/transience-of-life/
Find the wise women in your life and listen to their wisdom.
It is imperative to our growth as women that we are able to find other women who are ahead of us on our path (whether in age, experience, or expertise), who we can look up to, learn from, and use as a guide in times of difficulty.
It is better if these are women you can know personally (such as a family member, friend, healer, or mentor), but it does not have to be! Find a celebrity, artist, or fictional character and in times of need ask yourself “What would she do? What would she tell me?”.
